From the road II – Norway

From the road II – Norway

I thought I would upload photos from the rest of our trip once we are at home. But we are only about 10 days in Norway and I have collected 49 photos in my final selection. Well by the time this trip is over I might have to many photos to upload at once. Who likes to look at hundreds pics of us in the mountains :). So I am taking advantage of the fact that we have quite good internet connection and upload first part of photos from Norway. More writing will follow of course with my next post. There is so much more I have to let out :)

Kto by chciał oglądać setki naszych zdjęć z gór Tak więc skorzystam z okazji, że mamy całkiem szybki internet i opublikuję pierwszą część zdjęć z Norwegii.

I’m really impressed by your post and photos. They are simply great!
I’m curious how do you prepare your photos for the Internet? Do you use Photoshop, special filters or something different? Are they from the Iphone or digital camera?
Take care and have a good time on the North!

      Hello Anna,

thank you for nice compliment on my photos. 99% of photos I do are made with digital camera and 1% is from iPhone. To edit them I use lightroom. I used photoshop when I was working analogue but for digital files I like lightroom much more.
      Hoped that helped

Silvia I watch your blog and admire photos for a long time. It’s very interesting what you write about photoshop. Why lightroom is better for analogue and Photoshop for digital? Photography is my hobby and passion and you both are my best of the best favorite artists.

Hi Magda…sorry that it took me soo long to write this answer. But there has just been so many other things going on. I wrote it exactly in opposite order. I preferred photoshop for working on scans of analogue photos and now when I shoot digital I use lightroom. Photoshop has better tools to fix all the imperfections of scans and lightroom is very fast when it comes to sorting, storing and working on digital photos. I actually open photoshop only when I need to work on scanned illustrations :) … but let me tell you it took me months till I understood what lightroom is all about…Mr.B had to be very patient with me :)

Thank you very much for your answer. You have helped:-) Ale the best to you and your family. Keep writing and photographing! You are really good at it!:-)

    Pozdrawiam Was ciepło
    A.

oh wow!!! sooooo much beauty and your pictures….. amazing! your little man is getting so big!

    • silviapogoda says:

YESSSS he is. OMG he looks so grown up, so mature. I don’t know why that happens so fast, or maybe why that happens to him. Not that I am a mother who thinks her child is all special and one of a kind /which he is of course :D/ but he really looks older than other babies his age. His face is somehow not a face of a baby.

    Twoje zdjęcia, to czysta poezja.

  • kamilaaa says:

I can only imagine how difficult this trip must be with small baby on board…but pictures are soo amazing. Calm and beautifull

  • Magda says:

You are great! I can’t wait for “more words” about the trip.
I want to tell you, that you always look beautiful- at home, on the road, before, during and after being pregnant…. I suppose it’s because your diet and just because you’re beautiful, but let me ask you- do you have any favourite clothing brands?

    • silviapogoda says:

      OMG Magda, thank you :)
You really really surprised me. Not only by thinking I was beautiful during and after pregnancy :D, but most of all that you asked me about my clothing.
I am not even close to a person who has any kind of style :). I actually hate shopping clothes. I love shopping clothes for Little man and I also have favourite kids clothes brand, but for me NO. I do most of my shopping online so I don’t have to go to shops and try things on, that really kills me. But shopping online is not the best option as well. And because I hate shopping so much I buy clothes that is well made and made from good materials. There are pieces of clothes in my closest that are 8 years old and still look great. Which makes me happy because I don’t have to buy them again. So that is actually the most important thing when it comes to clothes, it has to be made of good material. I hate touching and feeling cheap shitty fabrics. There are brands that I know have good quality clothes like my favourite http://www.comptoirdescotonniers.eu/eboutique/accueil. I LOVE them but always wait for the sale :). I also like http://webstore-all.scotch-soda.com but not their Tshirts which get over over sized after one washing. But I pretty much buy few good pieces and thats it. NO style what so ever. I am just not a fashion freak hmmm :)

      • Magda says:

        Hi again:)
You don’t have to be a fashion freak and think almost all the time about clothes to look great:)
I hate shopping – it’s so boring for me and I’m always tired after this…. – that’s why I asked you – maybe to find something nice:)
        Greetings :)

Wspaniale się ogląda dobrze znane i nieco już nudnawe miejsca poprzez oko twojego obiektywu. Świeże spojrzenie, pięknie uchwycony moment i to niesamowite światło – po prostu uczta :)
Gdybyście potrzebowali ‘przewodnika’ po Oslo – jestem, po prostu napisz.

    • silviapogoda says:

Thank you Anka…maybe next time when we r in Oslo …this time our visit was only 4 days short out of which one day we were frantically trying to clean our camper just to have it in same shape two days later :)

    Hi,
Few years ago back in London, I’ve started following Bart’s blog. I have been a very loyal fan. Then you came and I’ve become even bigger admirer. And then randomly we had a babies at the same time, you have beautiful boy I have tomboy girl…. And somehow this little blog became more intimate, I felt more connection, I was going through the same joys and bumps of not just motherhood but life as mother, different women, wife…
Being a mum toddler gives me less time to read back to back all your stories but when I make my infrequent visit – your blog never disappoints.
Loyal fan, temporarily for few years in Australia
    Iza

I don't want my life to be a reason for other's life to be a suffering that is why I am vegan and that is how I want to raise my son. I love my little family, birds, rainy days and life on the road. I believe in life before death :).
